The facility features top quality Morton brand construction. Numerous skylights keep the facility bright all day. Eight large doors provide great ventilation during good weather. Ceiling fans in the aisle and individual box fans on each stall provide excellent air flow and cooling in summer months. The perimeter of the property is fenced for safety and security. The gate remains locked whenever staff leave the property. The two hundred stalls and four indoor arena are located under one roof. During inclement weather, you can stay warm and dry from the time you enter the facility.

Our lighted indoor arenas measures 72' by 132'. In addition to being able to ride during the winter months and during rain showers, the shade of the indoor arenas is very welcoming in the hot summer months.
Our fenced outdoor arenas measures 120' by 236'. The arenas are never closed to our boarders during lessons or clinics. Both arenas are large enough for several horses to be ridden at the same time.

Comfortable box stalls are 12'6" by 12'6" in size. They consist of 2" by 6" tongue in groove oak boards on the lower half and vertical bars on the top. This allows for maximum ventilation and socialization. All stalls have the capibility of becoming solid walls on both sides for horses who are happier not seeing their next door neighbors. Stalls are located on both sides of a 12' wide aisle. Sliding stall doors keep the aisle clear, safe, and accessible. One set of twenty five stalls on each side of the aisle to the east and the other set of stalls to the west to keep the flow of traffic down.

Twelve grooming stalls are located across the aisle from the tack rooms. These individual stalls are provided for grooming and saddling horses. This eliminates the need to cross-tie horses in the aisle. Cross ties are avaible though. The grooming stalls have electric outlets for clippers. The locked tack rooms have individual cabinets for each boarder and plenty of room for saddles and tack. A dehumidifier operates during humid summer months to protect the leather stored there. The indoor wash stalls have hot and cold running water and lights. Outdoor wash racks are also available. A modern restroom is located inside the facility.

We have approximately 80 acres available for pasture boarding. Mares and geldings live together in the pastures. They have fresh water and salt available at all times. We provide good quality grass hay at all times during the winter months and supplement their diet with alfalfa hay during really cold weather. Our pasture boarders enjoy complete use of the facilities along with shelter in the pastures. Much of the property is open and available for riding outside of the arenas.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A regular daily routine is of utmost importance to the health and comfort of our horses. They are fed at 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. every day. They eat high quality hay and grain twice a day. We are happy to add your supplements or medications to grain rations as required. All horses have access to salt blocks. Water buckets are filled a minimum of three times a day. We do not use automatic waterers because we think it is important to monitor water intake individually. Water buckets are cleaned as needed, but at least twice a week. Stalls are thoroughly cleaned seven days a week. Horses are provided turn-out daily.

We have eight large paddocks for turn-out individually or, if desired, in pairs. We can apply boots, fly masks, sheets, or fly spray for turn-out as needed. We will blanket and unblanket your horse as you desire.

All of our services are provided at no additional charge because the care and comfort of our horses is truly our utmost concern. We really do provide tender loving care to all of the horses lucky enough to call Hollow Brooke Riding Academy home.

Because Hollow Brooke Riding Academy is home to all breeds and disciplines, there is no competition among boarders. We are home to a really great group of people involved in stock seat showing, pleasure and trail riding, saddle seat competitions, hunters and jumpers, endurance riding, dressage and more. Our facility is never closed to our boarders. Once you become a member of our family, you are welcome at the barn whenever you want to visit your horse. We do ask that you respect Hollow Brooke's property because in reality Hollow Brooke is your home as well as many others.
